The Timberlake Fire Protection District has implemented a key box system as authorized by the 2006 International Fire Code (IFC) Section 506.1.  We use the Knox Box system where the fire department has a secured master key that fits into a key vault, padlock, or key switch that is mounted on a structure or gate.  The master key that opens these locks is secured in the fire apparatus and can only be released through a secured keypad combination that is issued per individual.

When ordering a knox box component for your property, be sure to download the application below and specify system code PS-09-0061-08-03 . Once your knox box component arrives, contact the fire department to open the vault or pad lock to secure your building/property keys.
If you change keys to your building/property, please contact the Timberlake Fire Protection District as soon as possible to also update they keys kept in the Knox Box vault.
