On Monday, June 29, 2009, the Timberlake Fire Protection District and marine units from the Kootenai County Sheriffs Department conducted a training exercise in Bayview at Scenic Bay Marina, C-Dock. The exercise simulated a float home on fire with occupants trapped on the back deck of two float homes.
