Hello parents, boys, girls, and family pets. My name is Amy Jo DeLong. I have lived here in Athol for about 10 years and in Northern Idaho for about 25 years. I have been married for 6 years and have 3 children. I currently volunteer at the Timberlake Fire Department teaching public education. I have been a volunteer ffor 9 years, starting out as a volunteer firefighter and first responder. I've been on many different emergency calls throughout the years. Everything from house fires to saving an occational cat or two. I am also involved in helping with rehab for the department, taking out food and water to the scene of an emergency for the firefighters who are working. I also have recently taken on the task of being the Assistant Cubmaster for the cubscouts here in Athol. So between my kids, the firehouse, and the cubscouts, I don't have alot of spare time, but when I do I enjoy my kids, pets, and an occasional good book. I hope to keep current on upcoming public education events and information on this web page as well as fun filled games and activities for the kids to learn all about safety.
