THE TIMBERLAKE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT’S Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th day of October, 2008 at 5985 E. Hwy 95, Athol, Idaho, to consider a resolution adopting a capital improvements plan for the District, and to consider a resolution requesting that Kootenai County’s Board of County Commissioners assess and collect a development impact fee for the Timberlake Fire Protection District to be used in funding the improvements called for in the capital improvements plan.
ALL INTERESTED PERSONS are invited and encouraged to attend the public hearing. All members of the public that are affected by the adoption of the capital improvements plan or proposed request to Kootenai county to adopt a development impact fee for the District, shall have the right to appear at the hearing and present evidence regarding the proposals. The Timberlake Fire Protection District’s Board of Commissioners will hear testimony from persons in attendance regarding the proposals and then will vote on whether to approve the proposed resolutions immediately following the conclusion of the public hearing. The District shall make available to the public, upon request, the relevant land use assumptions, the District’s proposed capital improvements plan, and the calculation of the development impact fee request to Kootenai County.
